Zoie Lynd was introduced to makeup while dancing as a young child. During recital season, all of the cast of the Ballet would approach her to do their hair and makeup. She fell in love with the art and wanted to continue to create makeup looks. Zoie has since then moved on to do editorial, film, and special event makeup. 

 

    Zoie studied the Master Makeup Artist program at Make-up Designory in Los Angeles, California. She went to MUD to further her knowledge in all aspects of the art of makeup. Zoie does all different types of makeup looks, from natural makeup looks to special effects and application of prosthetics. She strives to constantly learn all that she can about the evolving world of makeup. 

 

    Zoie has been working as a makeup artist for event and film makeup. She also assists other makeup artists, when ever she is given the opportunity, so that she can learn from other artists different techniques, thought processes, and outlooks on the art of makeup. In August 2017 Zoie had the great privilege to work on the makeup team of a full length movie called “The Lumber Baron” directed by Barry Andersson and produced by Scene & Hurd Production. 

 

    Zoie Lynd is going to continue to further her career and experience in the makeup industry by working on many film, TV, and print sets. She wants to create makeup looks that are eye-catching and hopes to one day have an editorial piece published in a magazine.
